Escape Key Graphics is proud to announce the launch of The Palm Beach Civic Association’s newly redesigned site: http://www.palmbeachcivic.org
Initially designed by Escape Key Graphics in February ’06, The Palm Beach Civic Association’s site has been doing a fine job of keeping their members up to date on breaking news within the association and educating the public on their roll in the community.
As time has gone by the association has grown and the website was becoming a little difficult to keep current. The association’s many flurried activities sometimes outpaced the opportunity for the site to keep up. A new look as well as a new approach needed to be considered.
After much consultation between myself and Rebecca Malek, Administrative Assistant at the association, a decision was made to go with a new look that could better accommodate the large volumes of information the association has slated for release and a more dynamic control interface that would allow the association’s staff to make some content changes on their own. As long as we were at it we went ahead and added
RSS feeds that allow users to subscribe to the sites content through a news reader,
CSS layout which makes the site load faster and should help increase the sites placement within the search engines, a dynamic index of articles, a dynamic calendar, elements of
liquid design and a bunch of other features I can’t even think of now.
Escape Key Graphics is excited to see The Palm Beach Civic Association and their role on the internet grow. Their new website gives them a good step forward into the future. I can’t wait to see what they do next.
