About the Client
This food truck wrap was created for Grand Harbor Golf and Beach Club in Vero Beach, Florida. The club offers unparalleled opportunities for leisure and recreation, with two thoughtfully designed golf courses and a tranquil beach club overlooking the water. It is the kind of place where members spend whole days moving from fairways to shoreline without ever feeling like they left home.
The Project
The request was straightforward. Create a vehicle wrap that highlights the club buildings and golf course. The truck would be moving around the property, serving food at different locations, so the wrap needed to feel connected to the place itself. Showing the club's architecture and the rolling fairways made sense.
The Challenge
Measuring for vinyl wraps is always challenging. The more accurate your measurements, the easier the job will be for the installers. Get it right, and the final outcome matches your vision. Get it wrong, and nothing lines up properly once the wrap goes on. I spent extra time on this stage because it makes everything else go smoother.
How I Made It
I created all the illustrations as vector art in Adobe Illustrator. Vector files keep their resolution no matter how large or small you scale them, which is essential for vehicle wraps. Whether the image wraps around a curved panel or stretches across a flat surface, it stays sharp and clean.
The vinyl printing and installation were handled by Image360. They did excellent work, and the photos on this page are compliments of their team. It is always good to work with people who know their part of the process as well as I know mine.
