I am happy to be working with a new client right in Marsh Harbour on the Island of Great Abaco in the Bahamas.
If you've never been to The Abacos you should definitely check them out. The Abaco Islands are a group of islands and barrier cays in the northern Bahamas, east of southern Florida. They are considered the boating capital of the Bahamas. Marsh Harbour has the majority of services available in all of the Abacos. It is the largest town in the Abacos and features shops, grocery stores and plenty to see.
Abaco Beach Resort offers an experience that goes beyond hotels in The Bahamas. Great for a getaway with your partner or a gathering of friends and family, complete your trip with poolside activities, water sports on the beach, paddle boarding, kayaking, sand volleyball, and more.
This map outlines the primary features and services of the both the resort and the marina. The initial design was seen from a different angle but thanks to the software I was using I could rotate the view without starting over. Most of the rest of the process consisted of the initial creation of everything and then minor edits. To give you an idea of the volume of work involved... I try to save my work every few hours and of course after every edit. I had just over fifty versions when finalized. This is a little bit of an oversimplification because I used several software packages and several file types were involved but it gives an idea.
This illustration and layout was created using Sketchup Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Kerkythea, and Adobe Illustrator. I generally supply my clients with files in multiple formats for print and web use. Unless requested otherwise I generally provide files at high enough resolution to be enlarged to sign sizes. I also usually provide an Illustrator file with the map keying on an editable layer so that a client can make minor revisions in house if they are so inclined.
